Giles worked in investment banking in London from 2000 to 2009 where his experience included finance transformation programs and central new business integration. He has leveraged and diversified his skills and experience through delivering customer-centric innovation and sustainable solutions to complex problems.

These solutions range from a large scale technology transformation program at an Australian bank, a significant reform initiative of a public sector transport entity, investment and asset management system improvements for transport organisations, establishment of a systems integration group and the effective scaling of a project development and delivery organisation to support complex rail infrastructure projects. Giles has systematically enhanced value by being customer-focused and utilising a wide array of methodologies and approaches appropriate to the situation.
