Alana is a legally-qualified subject matter expert in workplace relations and policy. She joined KPMG’s Workplace Relation Advisory team in 2018. Her experience in workplace relations spans more than 15 years across a diverse range of environments which include peak business representative organisations, an ASX 50 construction, mining and infrastructure firm, and a large not-for-profit entity.
Alana applies her deep subject matter expertise to support clients in a range of different contexts including workplace relations and enterprise bargaining strategies, workplace relations policy, workforce transformation, workplace relations maturity assessments, payroll vulnerability reviews and as a subject matter expert in transaction due diligence.
Prior to KPMG, Alana was Deputy Director of Workplace Relations at the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) where she represented the business community on matters of workplace relations law and policy before the Senate Education and Employment Committee, the Productivity Commission Inquiry into Workplace Relations, the Fair Work Commission in relation to matters of industry importance and in her role as employer advocate during the Annual Minimum Wage Review.
