Jean-Louis leads KPMG Banarra’s Responsible Sourcing service line and specialises in the integration of social, environmental and economic issues into procurement, sourcing and supply chain management strategies and frameworks.

Jean-Louis started his career in fair trade and was fascinated by the potential of this business model to generate social change. In 2008, he began working for a responsible sourcing advisory firm and he has remained in that world ever since.

Jean-Louis’s experience in responsible sourcing spans across a wide range of industries in France, Hong Kong and Australia. In 2016 he co-founded Action Sustainability Asia Pacific, which was acquired by KPMG Australia in early 2020. He is also active in standards and certification, chairing the Australian delegation on the project of ISO 20400: 2017 – Sustainable Procurement – guidance between 2013 and 2017.
