Chris Giddens

Chris is a Partner in our Deal Advisory team in Brisbane. He joined the Australian practice 2010, having previously worked with KPMG overseas. Chris is a registered liquidator with more than 15 years of global advisory experience and has been involved on engagements in a range of jurisdictions including Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Asia.

Key experience includes:

• assisting companies to assess their financial position, develop turnaround plans and present these to key stakeholders with a view to ascertaining their support for the implementation of the plan
• undertaking business reviews for major banks in Australia including reviews of management structures, trading results, forecast financial performance and identification of key risks
• formal insolvency and restructuring work in a range of sectors including mining, oil & gas, retail and agriculture
• advisory work to both corporate and government clients facing exposure to distressed customers and suppliers.
