Curtis Davies

NSW Government Lead Partner

KPMG Australia

Curtis has extensive experience working with the leadership teams of major organisations in navigating the challenges of transformation from legacy business models to ones that are 'future ready'. He leads KPMG Australia’s consulting services across the front and middle office environments of clients – from designing the customer promise to utilising an organisation’s people and assets to deliver on that promise in an efficient and effective manner.

In addition, Curtis sits on KPMG Management Consulting Executive Committee and is the Lead Partner for KPMG services to Transport for NSW.

Curtis rejoined KPMG after working as a Senior Executive in corporates for over 19 years. During his 13 years at Qantas, Curtis led areas as diverse as airports and catering (10,000 operational staff), marketing (loyalty, product design, market research, advertising and sponsorship), call centres (2,000 staff across four sites), alliances, strategy, and shared services (procurement, property, finance, payroll and HR). He established and led Qantas’ Transformation Program, was a member of the airline’s Executive Committee for many years and chaired the oneworld global airline alliance.

Post Qantas, Curtis was the CEO of Coal Customers and Strategy for Aurizon (formerly QR National) during its IPO and more recently, he was the Transformation Director for News Corporation in Australia.

Since returning to KPMG, Curtis has focused on bringing private sector perspectives to the public sector and is utilising his digital, customer and operational experience to redesign service provision within the NSW Government.
