Jonathon is passionate about helping organisations drive credible, long-term environmental change in their operations, supply chain, people, and networks. He helps businesses to understand their material impacts on the planet and prioritise initiatives that deliver meaningful action for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Jonathon joined KPMG in 2018 and manages the KPMG Australia's net zero strategy to 2030. This includes the firm’s Climate Active reporting, renewable procurement strategy, and flagship initiatives such as KPMG’s Nature Positive Challenge and internal carbon price. 

Having led in-house sustainability functions in banking and media previously, he specialises in operational climate strategy, emission reduction projects, staff engagement and industry partnerships.
