Ben works with KPMG Australia’s SMSF team to provide clients with advice relating to their superannuation death benefits, in particular, Binding Death Benefit Nomination strategies. He specialises in tax advice relevant to estate planning and the succession of business interests.

Ben's approach to providing estate planning advice to clients is highly collaborative and tailored to individual needs. He works closely with clients to clearly define their values and objectives, to develop estate plans that reflect their family values and legacy goals. He collaborates with specialist external law firms to develop comprehensive estate and incapacity plans designed to protect and transition wealth effectively. His bespoke approach addresses the unique circumstances and aspirations of his clients to provide peace of mind that their legacy will be preserved according to their wishes.

In 2024, Ben joined KPMG as an Associate Director. Prior to KPMG, Ben practised as a lawyer, specialising in estate planning for high-net-worth clients. Ben’s professional journey has encompassed roles in private practice, as well as in-house positions with a big four bank and a prominent Australian trustee company. In addition to his understanding of estate planning, Ben has developed a wealth of experience advising clients on a broad range of estate-related matters. These areas include estate administration, estate litigation, resolution of power of attorney disputes, charitable trusts, superannuation and representing clients in guardianship matters within tribunal proceedings.
