Shoghik Gharibyan

Shoghik joined KPMG Armenia in May 2002. In 1997-2002, before joining KPMG, Shoghik has been working in the Ministry of State Revenues of the , as Senior Specialist of Forecasting and Reform Department, 2nd class Consultant of the Tax Service. Currently Shoghik manages the activities of Tax Department: Coordination and provision of tax advice on both Armenian domestic and cross border tax and legal issues Participation in development of tax-efficient restructuring and reorganizations covering flows from Armenia, Tax Due Diligence engagements (Armenian largest manufacturing companies and financial sector institutions). Participation in financial statements audits to cover the tax liabilities section Review of tax liabilities and advice on potential tax risks, Managing personal tax compliance of expatriates. Overall coordination of the Tax Department activities. Shoghik has extensive experience in following sectors: Banks and other Finance organizations, IT companies, Mining companies, internationally funded organizations, Manufacturing companies, etc.
