Ravikanth Petluri

Ravi’s experience spans across both profession and industry in the region and he has specialized in IFRS audit and advisory engagements primarily in Investment management and banking sectors in the region. In KPMG, he is a Associate Partner in financial services audit department and is registered with DFSA as audit principal. In addition he is currently a part of the IFRS technical group which assists the audit teams in addressing complex IFRS and auditing issues. Further, Ravi is currently leading the investment management audit segment of KPMG UAE. Ravi is also active in providing both internal and external training's on IFRS accounting framework. He has provided external training's to organizations on Hedge accounting and Australian CPAs, UAE chapter on practical issues in implementing IFRSs in the region. Ravi’s client portfolio includes major financial services firms within UAE and particularly in DIFC. In addition to external audit services, Ravi has been involved in various advisory engagements as a subject matter expert including financial due diligence, process and procedures reviews and development of a group accounting manuals.
