Paul has more than 30 years of experience in treasury, risk management and banking, including policy and strategy development, hedge execution, treasury/derivative valuation and hedge accounting. Paul has been assisting organisations in Australia and overseas manage their treasury exposures effectively by providing advice, managing exposures and delivering transaction solutions as part of both the buy and sell side experience.

He is responsible for the KPMG Treasury outsourcing service, including hedge policy development and review, strategy establishment and hedge execution. This business currently supports clients with over $6 billion in outstanding debt.

Paul provides a wide range of corporate treasury risk management advice to an array of Australian corporations as a member of their Treasury Risk Management committees. In this capacity, he presents hedging and financial risk management strategies, surrounding interest rate, currency, counterparty and commodity risks to boards on an ongoing basis.

Prior to joining KPMG in 2013, Paul was responsible for a treasury advisory business whose services included the completion of derivative hedging transactions and reporting on clients’ portfolios from a risk and accounting perspective.
