Rob Keller specializes in the taxation of passthroughs and S-corporations. He also focuses on tax planning for closely-held businesses and their owners.
Rob is a frequent lecturer and writer on the taxation of partnerships, S-corporations, individuals, trusts and estates. In the tax community, he serves on the AICPA’s national S-Corporation Technical Resource Panel.
Rob received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame. He attained his law degree from Loyola University and his LLM degree in taxation from Georgetown University.

The Passthroughs group is responsible for providing insight to KPMG professionals and clients regarding the federal taxation of partnerships, real estate investment trusts, and S corporations across all major industries. In addition, the Passthroughs group advises in specialty areas such as like-kind exchanges, oil and gas, leasing, and excise taxes. Client services include transaction structuring, the issuance of opinions, and requesting private letter rulings.
