Sophie Boulanger

Sophie joined KPMG Luxembourg in 2006 in the international tax department and helped create the transfer pricing team as of 2010. She spent two years in KPMG’s Houston Global Transfer Pricing Services practice (US).
She is now the head of the transfer pricing department of KPMG Luxembourg.
Sophie serves clients in diversified sectors: commerce, industry, alternative investment, asset management and insurance sector.
Sophie is involved in large transfer pricing projects for international clients, with services ranging from strategic planning advice to corporate reorganizations, design of transfer pricing policy, global transfer pricing compliance, transfer pricing risk assessment, country-by-country reporting and audit defense.
She also assists national groups growing to the international scale in complying with global transfer pricing requirements and adapting their transfer pricing policy to larger and more complex transactions.
Sophie’s professional experience includes a strong focus on financial transactions (debt capacity, interest rates, guarantees, cash pools, etc.) as well as on the asset management sector.
She supported the creation of the transfer pricing working group at ALFI (association of the Luxembourg fund industry) and co-chairs the group to help the Luxembourg asset management and investment fund community on transfer pricing issues.
Sophie has taught annual courses at Neoma Business School since 2010 in international taxation and transfer pricing, for Master students as well as an annual module of transfer pricing to Luxembourg School of Business.
