The value of the global automobiles and components industry in 2005 was US$ 1,684 billion1. KPMG's Automotive practice is a key focus across the KPMG network of firms spanning the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific. The KPMG network of firms provide services to a wide ranging audit, tax and advisory client base including all of the top 15 global automotive companies2.

Our Regional Capabilities
Americas Investment has been made in advisory services related to risk management in support of our firms’ clients across all automotive sectors. As part of the corporate sponsorship of the North American International Auto Show (N.A.I.A.S.), KPMG in the U.S. hosts industry Share Forums which facilitate industry members in discussing a range of industry issues.
Europe, Middle East, Africa KPMG firms have particularly strong Automotive practices in Italy, France, Germany, Sweden and the U.K. which support clients in addressing the challenges of the automotive industry at local, regional and global levels. As per KPMG in the U.S. above, industry Share Forums are also being introduced in this region.
Asia Pacific The Asia Pacific region plays an increasingly important role in the global Automotive industry. Japan and Korea have established leading global players, of which many are KPMG firms' clients.
